Himanshu Jain is an experienced executive with over two decades of expertise in Project & Product Management, Business Transformation, and Process Improvement Practices. As the Chief Operating Officer at Ground Water & Mineral Investigation Consultancy Centre Pvt. Ltd. (GWMICC), Himanshu leads strategic initiatives that enhance organizational efficiency and promote sustainable water resource management. Under his guidance, GWMICC has launched several initiatives aimed at making industries water-neutral, thereby significantly reducing water usage and boosting sustainability across various sectors. His leadership has been central to establishing GWMICC as a pioneer in innovative groundwater management, assisting industries and communities in responsibly optimizing their water resources.

Beyond his role at GWMICC, Himanshu is the Director of Thought Agile Ltd, a consultancy recognized for its expertise in enhancing organizational capabilities in areas such as Project & Product Management, Agile Transformation, and Process Improvement Practices. His efforts have led to significant improvements in sectors including EdTech, FinTech, and AgriTech, helping organizations achieve process efficiencies and cost reductions.

In academia, Himanshu serves as a lecturer of Project & Product Management at Westminster Business School and as a Fellow at the Royal Docks School of Business & Law in London, UK. His academic roles benefit greatly from his industry experience, enabling him to merge practical insights with theoretical knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in education.

Himanshu is actively involved in community service. As the Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London, he supports civic engagement and cohesion. He also holds significant positions as the President of the Newham Chamber of Commerce and the Chair of Barking & Ilford United Charities. His role as the managing trustee of the Bharat Cricket Community is crucial in promoting mental well-being and social integration through sports.

Himanshu's community work has earned him several accolades, including the Coronation Champion title by the Royal Voluntary Service on behalf of King Charles III and the Point of Light Award from the Prime Minister of the UK.

A Freeman of the City of London and a member of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants, Himanshu’s extensive volunteer work, professional expertise, and academic contributions position him as a driving force behind GWMICC’s mission to advance sustainable and innovative groundwater management solutions.
